A platform above the beach where you can watch whales jumping, mating and giving birth.

Clearly a must-see in this region at the right time of year! This wooden platform, located above the beach, offers guaranteed sightings of southern right whales from July to September. Every austral winter, these giants calve just a few dozen meters from the shore. Access is free, and the unobstructed view of the ocean is impressive even out of season. Practical: a coastal path links the beach to the town center for a longer stroll.
