Exit the Byway 12 and take the Hole-in-the-Rock Road to the south. It is a "garden of stone" with the most diverse forms: domes, arches, hoodoos or "fées". The road is not asphalted, but it can be borrowed after information about its state at the Visitor Center in Escalante. Picnic tables and toilets are available on the site. Take two hours for a short visit.
