As a café, restaurant, bakery and pastry shop, the Iron Donkey is well known among the volunteers and employees of the many NGOs working in Gulu and the surrounding countryside. Opened in 2014, it has recently moved from Olya Road to Jivan Abji Road. It offers the drinks(smoothies, iced coffee or cream, tea, lemonades, fruit juices...), cakes (cinnamon rolls, brownies, cookies, muffins, scones...) and main courses that have forged its reputation. Good food and good reception!
