A hotel with an excellent welcome, clean, comfortable rooms and a delicious bar-restaurant, a good address in Gulu.
The youngest of the African Roots guesthouses opened in May 2019. It quickly established itself as one of the best, if not the best, accommodation choices in the city. The fourteen rooms are clean, comfortable and fully equipped (the more cosy ones will appreciate the soft pillows and cushions). Its bar-restaurant, l'Akiida (open from 7am to 9pm), is of the same kind. On colourful tablecloths and under a thatched roof, you can enjoy good food and cold drinks. Excellent welcome.
