Completed in the late 1930s, the circular museum building is worth the trip. Its collections include a wealth of artifacts related to local, regional and national history, as well as works by local artists (including Clementine Hunter), Indian tribal artifacts, natural history and science and technology exhibits, more than two dozen dioramas and a mural by artist Conrad Albrizio.
