SHREVEPORT SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

Founded in 1948, it is the oldest professional orchestra still in operation in Louisiana and one of the most respected in the country. Under the musical direction of conductor Michael Butterman since 2005, who has an impressive track record, the SSO presents concert series at venues such as the RiverView Theatre and First Baptist Shreveport.
