Hiltons are known for their soft amazing bedding and wonderful pillows. The bedding here is scratchy and the pillows are like rocks. I took the bottom sheet off thinking the mattress cover would be softer and it was horribly stained. The old dingy comforter was placed between 2 flat sheets. The main focus of a hotel should be a comfy bed. Needless to say, my night was not restful at all. This hotel has gone downhill. I’m a Hilton Honors member and have never had this experience before. I was in 1109 if a hotel employee needs verification of my comment.
If possible, avoid staying at this place. The front desk people are pretty bad at customer service. Kay was really good and the other male associate was awesome. But rest all are the worst. Being a diamond member is a curse at this hotel. Valarie the GM needs to review the service provided to customers. Never again at this place. They are pretty bad and service is worst.
I have stayed @ this property for years! Great customer service has been non existent (front desk) until….. Kendra Miller came on board!! What an exceptional addition to your staff. Kendra’s customer service skills are impeccable!!! she goes over and beyond. For the first time in years. My checkin and stay.. was truly enjoyable!
I wanted to give a 4 star rating for the service. However Kendra, Kay, Randy were too amazing to let one apple spoil the great bunch. I appreciate them being professional and accomodating.
Hotel requires a $25 early check in if you don’t use app. Parking is valet only but regular parking is available but they have to give you a single use card to get in and out this will not be a place I will be staying g at again in the area. Easier to stay at Hilton properties by airport cheaper and no parking issues. Nicer people too. I spent 120,000 last year at Hilton properties and this is one of the e worse cs I have had to deal with.
I mean it’s just a Hilton. Mattresses and pillows are good, room was clean, AC worked great. Unfortunately most of the staff was rude and seemed inconvenienced whenever you ask for something. Stayed here three times as a Diamond member and have never been offered or given an upgrade.
We were here for a competition at the convention center. Location is amazing! Rooms are nice. The biggest issue was understaffing for the occupancy. Service was poor due to not enough staffing anywhere. We sat for breakfast Sunday at 9:30am and after 30 minutes waiting for a server to acknowledge us, we left. Additionally, the elevators were not working several times throughout the weekend and we were on the 11th floor. We learned from other guests that have been at this hotel several times that the elevators are a problem every time they have stayed here. Again, knowing the occupancy would be high, there should have been preventative measures taken to ensure elevators were working.
My husband and I checked into the hotel yesterday. Being a HH Diamond member, I was upgraded to a junior suite -- fabulous room and wonderful view. Bed was very comfortable, but the pillows were somewhat soft. Great shower (had rainshower effect). Breakfast buffet was delicious....everything very fresh!!
This is an absolute disaster! It is not consistent with the Hilton brand. The room has only been cleaned 1 day out of the 6 days of paying full price for a room. Valet service is spotty as well. The only reasonable functioning part of the hotel is the restaurant. Unfortunately, the convenience of the location is outweighed by the extremely poor cleaning. I am a Hilton Gold member and have not had similar experiences at other Hilton properties. This location is very poorly managed.
Marion the lady in the front desk was so rude to me when I was checking in to the hotel. She looked bothered by me being there and having smart remarks about the questions I had. I wish there was corrective action on the company’s behalf so nobody else experiences what I experienced
I stay at Hilton Shreveport when visiting family. This visit has been problematic due to poor room cleaning, 23 Feb-present! The linens were pulled and the bathroom was not serviced. The hotel did notify us that due to limited staff there would be no service one day, but the second day we were not notified. This is very uncharacteristic so I hope the hotel can fix the lack of staff. I will say, the gentlemen (night shift maintenance staff) who was sent to correct our room issues was very professional! I asked that a Manager give me a call but haven’t heard but I’ve been texting personnel from the hotel staff to give feedback on my concerns.
We got put in a room that I felt was definitely not deep cleaned. There was hair in the shower and something sticky on the carpet. The water pressure and hot water was almost nonexistent. Not the worst place I’ve ever stayed by far but definitely think more attention should be paid to cleaning. At least get the cob webs off the bathroom ceiling.
Location pretty good
Mixed experience with 2 times at front desk
Starbucks on sight
Put a giant sticker on our car when we were juat checking in.
