This modern-looking cafe next to a gas station doesn't really look traditional. And yet, this is where you can try the local specialty, the tarta de Mondoñedo, a cake made with angel hair and candied fruit. The company has been here for 50 years, and the "king of pies" has been passed down from father to son. And apparently, many representatives of the Spanish jet set swear by the pastries of Carlos Folgueira and his family! It is essential to stop by and try the recipe.
