ARCHANGEL MICHAEL'S CATHEDRAL

The oldest building of Oral. Erigée in 1740, the cathedral of the Archangel Michel combines the classic blue pastel color of orthodox churches. It consists of two blocks, one of which is overcome by a bell, while the other is dominated by four golden domes, sparkling and overcome with orthodox crosses. Only the bell is not of origin: it was destroyed during the Pougatchev rebellion and rebuilt in a much more sober style.
