Beautiful 2 km stroll along the paved road, discovering ruins, lookouts and waterfalls

Paraty is the southern end of the old gold route. There are now 2 km of beautiful walks along the paved road that used to carry gold from Minas Gerais to the port of Paraty. Ruins, belvederes and waterfalls are waiting for you.

To be organized from Paraty, in one of the agencies on the main street (about R$40/person). Possibility to do the famous Trilha de Ouro (3 days) through the Serra from the village of São José do Barreiro.
