The stunning Isla Incahuasi ("house of the Inca" in Quechua language) offers a remarkable contrast to the blinding whiteness of the salt desert. It is a popular destination on the Salar de Uyuni expedition. Follow the marked path between the numerous cacti (which can reach ten meters in height) and progress towards the top of the island. The effort will be worth it, because from this point of view, you will enjoy a simply stunning panorama. There is also a ticket booth, cafeteria, pay toilets and picnic tables.

Une fois dans le désert du Salar d'Uyuni, le blanc du sel est partout. Et puis magie du voyage, comme au beau milieu de la mer, voici l'ile d'incahusi que j'ai pu parcourir. remplie de cactus, elle est une véritable ile de terre au milieu du sel.
