Dijon seen from above: climb the towers!

Ready to take the high road? You will have to climb the 316 steps to reach its summit at 46 m high. The visit lasts 45 minutes, always accompanied by a guide. Built between 1450 and 1460 by the architect Jean Poncelet, the Tower had a symbolic role of affirmation of the ducal power rather than a defensive one. A spiral staircase leads to the terrace overlooking the city and is decorated with a flamboyant gothic style railing. From June to October, contemplate the city with a glass in hand with the aperitifs of the Tower.

Opening time and information on TOUR PHILIPPE LE BON

Low season: open Monday to Saturday from 11:15 a.m.; Sunday from 10:30 a.m. High season: Mondays from 10:45 am; Tuesdays to Sundays from 10 am. Reservations required at the Tourist Office. Adults: €6. Group (5 people): €25 (Tribe rate). Free for children aged 0 to 3. Reduced rate : 4€. Guided tour (guided tours, not with commentary, limited to 18 people).
