The CHU has the only type III maternity hospital in the Burgundy Perinatal Network, and the only prenatal diagnosis and treatment centres for conjugal infertility in the region. It is a leading centre for sterility surgery, prolapse, severe multi-organ endometriosis and assisted robot surgery. It is the main surgical centre for pelvic gynecological cancers. The maternity hospital of the University Hospital innovates by offering a physiological course. Since the beginning of 2017, parturient women with uncomplicated pregnancies have been able to choose to give birth more naturally in the new nature room. This new proposal provides future parents with a safe alternative to traditional childbirth methods.
