For a bucolic dinner under the wisteria, Gilles' cooking is original and tasty.

A bucolic cocoon just a stone's throw from downtown, we like to sit on the terrace under the wisteria of the Hidden Corner. Séverine welcomes you in the dining room, while chef Gilles prepares all his dishes from fresh products in the kitchen: poultry and mushroom quenelles, ricotta pie, salmon curry rillettes, saithe with green lentils and chorizo cream... Here, one cannot be disappointed. At lunchtime, there is only one menu offering a choice of three starters, three main courses and three desserts, and in the evening, there is a classic menu as well as à la carte dishes.

Open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 12pm to 2pm and 7:30pm to 10pm; Wednesday from 12pm to 2pm. Single menu at €40 (starter-main course-dessert or starter-main course-cheese).

Owner's Message

There is a hidden place at the corner of the Rue de Jouvence, Place Barbe... a traditional and gastronomic restaurant, with a cosy and warm atmosphere...Le Coin Caché. At lunchtime during the week, the Chef offers a formula of 23 € full menu. The quality/price ratio is unbeatable in view of the fresh products that are served, without forgetting the small "home-made" tiles that accompany the coffee, small details that do not deceive. Of course, to accompany these delicate dishes, the wine list is monumental, as much by its choice as by the quality of the wines, also served by the glass. We are just impatiently waiting for the nice days, in order to take advantage of the beautiful terrace naturally shaded, but think of booking at 03 80 55 35 55, as well as for groups or we will adapt a menu to you.

Le coin caché...ne doit pas rester caché... Une table délicieuse où les tables les unes proche des autres invitent à l'échange et nous avons d'ailleurs fini la soirée à parler avec nos voisins. Venus pour nos 10ans de rencontre, nous avons été magnifiquement servis par une patronne agréable, souriante avec le mot juste. Elle aime son métier, elle le partage. Amateurs de vins, nous avons été servis par une professionnelle, et touristes que nous sommes, elle nous a initié aux vins de Bourgogne avec passion. Merci... Une soirée qui restera dans nos mémoires !
