ANANDASHRAM

Near the Kanhangad railway station, this ashram is open to all, regardless of gender, race, religion or caste. Here, the search for inner peace goes through a three-step process: chanting the name of the divine(nama), becoming aware of the essence of one's being(dhyana) and expressing love for one's fellow man through action, especially towards the needy(seva). Devotion to the three masters of the place is also part of this process. The place is pleasant to visit but it is advisable to respect the quietness of the place.
