The Detroit public library network has over branches, which is the largest in Michigan. Located opposite the DIA, the Midtown Central Library has many collections including the E. Azalia Hackley, a collection dedicated to the Afro-American community performing arts or the Rare Book Collection with its rare books, including the original manuscript of Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer Among the Indians written by Mark Twain. Several workshops and activities are also organized over the months. For those who would like to have a guided tour of the places, two tours are offered free of charge per month, Saturday at 11 pm, and you must register in advance. Art, architecture and collections are in the spotlight.
