Opened in the spring of 2025 by Nelson Kazan, well known to the Detroit bar scene, Pocket Change is a stone's throw south of Eastern Market. If the place rings a bell, it's because Collect Beer Bar was housed there until recently. It's definitely the perfect place to enjoy a drink at the end of the day, and even more so in fine weather with its large rooftop terrace. For a snack, pop-up chefs stop by, and DJs take turns at the turntables on a regular basis. A must-see!
