DETROIT CITY DISTILLERY

This artisan distillery produces spirits such as vodka, rye, gin (try Railroad Gin) and bourbon. All concocted from products sourced from local farms, they come in a variety of ranges, from signature products to limited-edition or downright experimental. To discover them, a tasting room acts as a bar in an industrial-chic setting where lovers of full-bodied products gather. Guided tours of the Whiskey Factory on Saturdays at 11am, 1pm and 3pm (1000 Maple Street).
