THE ARETHA FRANKLIN AMPHITHEATRE

Renamed in 2018 following the death of the Queen of Soul, this superb outdoor amphitheatre is located on the banks of the Detroit River. According to Pollstar, it even ranks among the 100 most beautiful amphitheatres in the world. In summer, it presents musical shows of all styles, including the famous Jazzy Night Series. The place can accommodate up to 6,000 people and even boaters do not miss the show, dropping anchor a few meters from the shore. A unique place!
