The Detroit Masonic Temple is the largest in the world, and was built between 1920 and 1926 to designs by the architectural firm George Mason and Company. The opening concert was held on February 22, 1926, with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. The lobby features several works by sculptor Corrado Parducci, as do his artistic details throughout the building. In addition to shows, guided tours are offered for those wishing to discover the history and architecture of the Masonic Temple (ticket required).
