A superb venue with a capacity of almost 3,000 people, located in a historic building opened in 1925 and which, at the time, served as a cinema (State Theatre and Palms Theatre). The venue is now dedicated to music, with established and lesser-known artists treading the boards of the Fillmore in a packed program of all musical styles. Until 2019, the Detroit Music Awards were held here annually in the spring (unfortunately, this gala of excellence ceased to exist a few years ago).
