PARAMITA SOUND

Andrey Douthard and his associates founded Paramita Sound in 2014 in the rising West Village. Now located in the city centre, the place remains one of the most underground record stores in Detroit. There are mainly vinyl records, including several labels from Detroit. The house's main specialty is hip-hop, but there is also a varied selection ranging from African music to electro and indie rock. Bonus: the place has a bar offering a wide range of wines and homemade beers.
