Family hotel perched above the beach offering simple, cheerful and colorful studios.

Family hotel, perched above the beach, secluded at the end of the bay. It is 600 m from the village of Plakias and 50 m from the beach. Its pleasant architecture is reminiscent of the style of the Cyclades. The simple, cheerful and colourful studios are equipped with a veranda and open onto a balcony overlooking the sea. An à la carte restaurant offers homemade dishes (simmered by Natasha, the owner's wife) and organic wine in barrels from the nearby village. A great address for a quiet rest. Good family welcome.

Wir haben uns diese kleine Übernachtung mit den wenigen Doppelzimmern tatsächlich aufgrund der vielen vorherigen positiven Bewertungen ausgesucht und wurden nicht enttäuscht, wir haben endlich das für uns entdeckt was einen Urlaub ausmacht.
Eine kleines Hotel mit ruhig gelegenen Zimmern und super Lage und super Aussicht über die Plakiasbucht beim Frühstück unter den schattenspendenden Bäumen...
Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und es wird vieles noch selbst zubereitet, das schmeckt man auch.
Wer abends nicht außerhalb essen möchte, kann dann auch im Hotel in der Restauration was bekommen und ist wieder sehr positiv gestimmt.
Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und sauber und werden regelmäßig gereinigt...
Der kleine Ort Plakias bietet für einen Urlaub alles was man sich wünscht...
Der Strand vor dem Haus ist übrigens sehr schön, sauber und ist ein Sandstrand, wo es sehr flach ins Meer geht...
Abgerundet wird die fantastische Lage durch die Felswand direkt hinterm Haus.
Wenn Kreta nicht so groß wäre, würden wir nächstes Jahr sofort wieder kommen in der herbstlichen Jahreszeit, wo es nicht mehr so heiß ist, das Wasser aber immer noch stabile 25 Grad hat...

A jewel! It’s a lovely family-owned hotel on the quieter and more beautiful side of Plakias. It is located directly next to the beach. The rooms are simple but have everything you need and feel very authentic with their colourful doors and windows. The breakfast is served on the beautiful terrace under olive trees with a beautiful view of the bay. If you want you can have dinner there too. The authentic Cretan dishes made us not want to dine anywhere else. You will feel like part of the family after a couple of days.

A great location and very friendly people. I was welcomed with a smile. The hotel has an excellent courtyard area with olive trees, table and chairs and amazing views. An exceptional area to have a drink. I didn't try the restaurant but the menu looked amazing and I shall try it next time. Great sunset view. I shall return.

Wir waren bereits zum 5. Mal im Plakias Bay Hotel und sind immer wieder begeistert. Traumhafte Lage, saubere Zimmer, leckeres Essen und sehr nettes Personal.
