Cretan cuisine, improved not to say creative, with extra virgin olive oil exclusively. This restaurant is one of the best restaurants in Rethymno. You can enjoy a wide variety of mezzedes as well as the succulent baked lamb mouse, Greek version, with potatoes and wild vegetables from the Cretan mountains, among others. The staff is friendly and welcoming, just like the owner Yourgos, who is known throughout the city. Close to the port, the restaurant is located on a busy street of Rethymno, one of the most animated in the area.

The Agrimia restaurant, located on a street in the old town, serves authentic and creative Greek cuisine, prepared with fresh local products. The menu offers a varied selection of mezes, typical Cretan recipes and specialties based on seafood and fresh fish. Whether you are vegetarian or vegan, you will be delighted with their alternative dishes. In addition, children's menus are also available for young guests. The chef and his team take great care to prepare each dish in the traditional way. They use extra virgin Cretan olive oil and carefully selected meat from local producers. The wine, raki, herbs and vegetables used in the preparation of the dishes are also sourced from local and Cretan producers, further enhancing the flavors and authenticity of each meal. The restaurant's extensive wine list is sure to please wine lovers. The friendly French-speaking staff will guide you in selecting the perfect wine and food pairing. Τα ουδέτερα: Η ύπαρξη παιδότοπου. Καλό αν είσαι οικογενειάρχης, δύσκολο αν θες να φας ήσυχα με τη μεση ελληνική οικογένεια δίπλα σου.
Οι τιμές. Είναι πλέον ακριβά όπως και το σύνολο της ελληνικής επικράτειας, αλλά στο μέσο όρο της αγοράς.
Τα αρνητικά: Το φαγητό. Πήραμε καλαμαράκια και ήταν εντελώς άγευστα. Δεν ήταν κακομαγειρημένα, ήταν άγευστα.
Επίσης πήραμε ξιφία ο οποίος ήταν στεγνός, και σε γενικές γραμμές και αυτός αδιάφορος. Το ίδιο και η φάβα που πήραμε.
Δεν πέρασα άσχημα αλλά δεν ευχαριστήθηκα το φαγητό και εξού και δε θα το ξαναπροτιμήσω. Ίσως τα κρεατικά του να είναι καλύτερα.
