Read moreThe hotel was built on a hill overlooking Heraklion and its countryside. The rooms are spread around the charming village, so as to remind the small typical Cretan alleys. It is open all year round but with a reduced service in winter. 34 rooms in a traditional style, with air conditioning, a fireplace… The large outdoor swimming pool is open from May to late October. The hotel is owned by Georgis and Marika Saloustros and their four children, including Michalis who speaks French very well. In this village there is a small museum, a church, a mosaic workshop, a tavern, a souvenir shop… It organizes traditional costume evenings on Wednesdays from May to September. With some luck, you may attend a baptism or a wedding of premises.
