About 45 km from Quelimane, far from the tourists, there is a heavenly beach of about 40 km long, deserted except for the few fishermen with nets who work on its edge. It is lined with pine trees, on a strip of a hundred meters wide that separates it from the interior, dotted with small fishing villages. Praia de Zalala is a pleasant and recommended excursion to make from Quelimane, especially at the time of the return of the fishing. Spending the night is possible since the opening of an ecological lodge in 2012, otherwise no other construction comes to disturb the natural beauty of the coastline... And it is so much better!
