From Vientiane, take road no. 13. At km 90, turn towards Ban Houay Leuk from where you can reach the entrance of the reserve (about 10 kilometres of dirt road). Signs should show you the way. Tad Leuk is a nice 6 meters high waterfall, surrounded by forests which can be the starting point of a trek (preferably start with a guide). You will be able to reach the Tad Xang waterfall in a three hour walk. Very pleasant to picnic, swim and spend a relaxing moment.
