International cultural center on the shores of Lake Ørnsø, presenting thematic exhibitions of contemporary art

Located in the south-west of the city, in a former sanatorium (built in 1883, it is the best preserved in Denmark), the Silkeborg Bad art centre, inaugurated in 1998, is a cultural centre with an international vocation which presents exhibitions of contemporary art of high artistic quality, often around a theme: the trees of life and art, nature, culture... In perfect harmony with its environment on the edge of lake Ørnsø.
