COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL

The festival is held every year during the second week of August. Here Silkeborg takes on a western feel as it plays host to internationally renowned country dancers and musicians. Around Torvet, the squares are ablaze with the sound of harmonica, fiddle, guitar and banjo! The shores of the lake take on a Texas feel, with cowboy hats and fringed vests, cowboy boots and plaid shirts! An absolute change of scenery in a friendly atmosphere. And the opportunity to try the Lindy Shuffle!
