These caves at the entrance to Ortigosa de Cameros are the only ones suitable for visiting in the whole of La Rioja.
The caves are located in Mount Encinedo, at the entrance to Ortigosa de Cameros. To reach them from the village, you have to cross the bridge on foot from the chapel of Santa Lucía. The La Paz Cave has a 236-metre walk and the La Viña Cave a 114-metre walk, where stalactites, stalagmites and other spectacular limestone formations can be seen. These are the only caves in the whole of La Rioja suitable for a visit.
