South of Logroño, we enter a mountainous region populated by small villages: Cameros. It is divided into two areas: Camero Viejo, located on the banks of the river Leza, an arid and solitary land; and Camero Nuevo, in the valley of the river Iregua, of which the Sierra Cebollera Natural Park is the lung. A land of transhumance watered by the tributaries of the Ebro River, Cameros is worth a visit for its charming traditional villages, especially the picturesque Villoslada de Cameros and San Román de Cameros, and its wide natural spaces. Do not hesitate to visit the Natural Park Interpretation Centre!
