A stop in Bodie Ghost Town is like stepping back in time to the Gold Rush era. You won't be disappointed!
A stopover in Bodie Ghost Town means stepping back in time to the days of the gold rush. A lost place, where a few gold seekers braved extreme climatic conditions in the 19th century. Twenty years later, Bodie was California's second-largest city behind San Francisco! In 1962, the abandoned town was designated a State Historic Park. Some 200,000 people visit Bodie every year. In winter, it is accessible only by ski, snowshoe or snowmobile

This place is unmissable if you are in the region, and especially except tourist period reinforces the impression of ghost town!
