This center has two performance halls dedicated to simplified Kathakali performances (the original temple performances can last up to 9 hours) and demonstrations of Kalaripayattu, the ancient martial art from Kerala. The shows are well-practiced, with music, a narrator and a flawless organization. It's a good idea to spend the early evening before dinner and learn about Kerala culture.
