Great trail with a stunning view of the entire Dempster Highway valley, ideal for a hike.

This is one of the most popular hikes in the park. A superb moderate 3 km round trip trail, climbing up the mountainside to a breathtaking viewpoint over the entire Dempster Highway valley. The hike takes about an hour and a half. If you are lucky, you will have the opportunity to view grizzly bears from a distance near the creek below. Beautiful colours, red and gold, appear as early as the end of August. The best time for this hike is from April to September.
