The site of La Barotte, opened at the end of the 19th century, already gathered the agricultural college, the CFPPA and the educational use. It has been equipped, for two years, by a new equestrian center. More than 3 million euros have been invested in what is one of the most important municipalities community projects of the Châtillonnais. Needless to say that the club has an important facelift: two new rides, a new career, stables for 60 horses, saddleries, showers for horses and reception rooms ... This club affiliated to the French riding school is open for all, whatever the level. The range of activities offered meets the majority's request : training, hiking, horse riding, roundabout, training in the competitions, show jumping. You can start to get in touch with the pony at the age of six years and the owners of horses can leave the latter in pension. Courses are organised in season. Otherwise rides are possible, the equestrian centre is close to the beautiful and vast Châtillonnaise forest.
