REFUGIOS ANDINOS

5 mountain huts belonging to the NGO Don Bosco, Italian priests. The agency is based in Marcará. Along the Quebrada Ishinca, 3 hours walk from the village of Collon: the Ishinca refuge and 2 hours from Longoni: nice lakes around. To the north, the Huascarán refuge is a 5 hour walk, and allows to reach the^first base camp. The Perù al Pisco is at 3h walk: a good base to climb the Pisco and at 2h walk from Llanganuco. Finally, Contrehierbas is located in the Callejón de Conchucos in the north, which is much less frequented (from Yanama, 3h walk).
