A high-comfort establishment offering five 100 bungalows on the edge of the lagoon

La Pirogue Api is reborn as Eden: a luxury retreat on a 5,000 m² private motu, where calm and absolute comfort reign supreme. With four 100 m² bungalows in natural materials, lagoon-side terraces, private access to the water and a Zen corner with hammock, every detail inspires serenity. A family bungalow sleeps up to five. The panoramic view covers Raiatea, Tahaa, Bora Bora and Huahine, all protected by a double barrier reef. A little Robinson-style luxury!

We had an amazing time celebrating my wife's 40th birthday and New Years. The bungalows were very nice and comfortable. We didn't mind the lack of AC and preferred the natural sea breeze to keep us cool. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, particularly with our young 2 year old son. While some of the staff spoke limited English, we had no issues communicating with them. The lunches and dinners were fantastic, particularly the special beach dinner we opted for. My own piece of advice is to offer some sort of protein like eggs at breakfast.

Honeymoon. Was amazzzinnggg experience for us. There were only 4 individuals visiting the island for most of our stay. We were there for 5 days and was peaceful, quiet and serene.
We laid out, read, kayaked, snorkeled, relaxed, played games. Early mornings and early bedtimes.

-No air conditioning, but great wind flow/cross breeze.
-Meals offered, payment due at the end. We did dinners there. Did our own breakfast and lunch. They have a coffee and hot water machine in each room, with a mini fridge. Can always bring meals that require hot water applied to them.
-Ability to go into town or excursions. Will be an additional cost but can also tag along, if staff have to go in anyways.
-Staff are very friendly and kind. Max is the manager and is great! He speaks French and English well. Most staff speak French or Tahitian. Download Google translate. :)

Eden is the best place I've ever stayed at and would definitely go back! The bungalows were so well maintained and clean that it was hard to believe we were on motu in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. From the welcome flowers to comfy beds to daily housekeeping, my husband and I were able to relax and rest during our week-long stay. We loved the abundance of fruits and pastries served at breakfast, and the delicious fresh seafood for dinner. Besides the immaculate property and setting in the lagoon, what made this an amazing experience was the staff! Max, Doriane, chef, and everyone else we interacted with were very kind, accommodating, and hospitality was above and beyond. To help set expectations, this place is on a small motu in the middle of the ocean so don't expect a full resort, come to Eden if you're looking for a peaceful and relaxing place to get away from crowds and busy everyday life.
