The opening of a bookshop is always an event, especially as there aren't many of them in Tahiti. In their small shopping center at the entrance to Taravao, Nathalie and Jean-Marc Gherra have decided to open a new bookstore at the end of 2021. For the time being, local authors and publishers have pride of place on the shelves, but the couple are not holding back and are thinking of expanding their offer. One area is dedicated to children and another to exhibitions by local artists. It's a project we'd like to heartily endorse!
