Boca Grande Island is ideal for year-round sport fishing for tarpon.
The island where American presidents, and still today the Bush family, as well as celebrities, come to spend their vacations; chic atmosphere, multiple golf courses, bicycle or golf cart rides across the island to see the iguanas, the adorable little chapels and the lighthouse. This is also the capital of tarpon fishing all year round, but especially from May to June when thousands of tarpon cross the great channel of Boca Grande and Pine Island Sound. Fishermen from all over the world come to participate in this sport fishing.
