In the north-east of the country near the city of the same name, this park reflects the beauty of the landscapes of the Moroccan north coast with its cliffs overlooking the sea. With an area of 47 000 hectares, it is characterised by its landscapes and biodiversity: many caves, deep and narrow gorges, and crystal clear seawater. There is incredible clarity in the waters that include cnidarians, annelids, molluscs, crustaceans, and echinoderms. Marine mammals, too, are not at rest with the presence in the park of three species of dolphins: the common dolphin, the blue and white dolphin and the big dolphin. What, in one place, is a singular fact in the Mediterranean. Finally, the park has a ornithological interest, since 69 species of birds are listed there, one of the largest concentrations in the osprey world. It also serves as a refuge for very rare species such as the monk seal and Gull gull.
