Located ten miles east of Appomattox, this battleground is the place of the last great battle of the American Civil War, prior to fighting and Reddition. The battle of Little Sailor's Creek played a decisive role in the outcome of the war, because here the North Virginia Army of General Lee lost 7 700 men, 8 of whom were general, as a club at the head of northern general. 72 hours later, in Appomattox, he introduced the weapons.
