Museum that exhibits minerals from the eastern part of Elba.

The museum exhibits minerals coming especially from the eastern zone, where the iron mines are located. Many examples of exceptional beauty, rarity and scientific value are preserved, in particular the rare prase quartz, discovered by Alfeo Ricci for the first time on the island. Also a pyrite with double penta-dodecahedron (60 faces), where two crystals have grown into each other, forming a curious cross shape, called iron cross.
