PALACIO DA ALVORADA

The Palacio da Alvorada or "Palace of the Dawn" is the residence of the President of the Republic. The building is reminiscent of the villas built in France in the 1960s by the sea. It was the first building to be constructed in Brasília and was inaugurated in 1957. At that time it was also the place of work of the president and still, lack of option in the city, of relaxation of the leaders of the construction of the capital who met at the end of the day around the piano.
