ERMIDA DOM BOSCO

This small temple built in homage to the Italian priest João Belchior Bosco was inaugurated in 1957 on the shores of Lake Paranoa, even before it was filled. According to the texts, Bosco had a dream in 1883 where between the parallels 15° and 20° south a civilization would appear. This was the place chosen for the construction of the new capital. The place is a bit remote, but quite interesting. The sunsets around the lake are spectacular and the people used to go there for cycling, walking, swimming in the lake.
