Active Tours offers active holidays in France by bike or on foot to discover wine. On your own or with a guide, for one or several days, Active Tours takes care of everything. In Beaune, it is its agency Bourgogne Évasion which makes you discover the wine coast in a playful way, by bike. Under the guidance of Florian, Guillaume and their team of experienced guides, the pedal strokes take you through the most beautiful vineyard landscapes of the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits.

Bike and wine day in the Cote de Beaune

Discover the UNESCO World Heritage vineyards of Côtes and Hautes-Côtes de Beaune by bike. This is the best way to see, smell and taste Burgundy's wines. The tour takes in the villages of Pommard, Saint-Romain, La Rochepot, Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault and Volnay.
After a transfer with our vehicle from our store at Parc de la Bouzaise, Allée du Docteur Bouley, Beaune, to the starting point, we'll have a briefing on how to use the bikes and how the day will unfold. Our tour of the Climats de la Côte de Beaune is all about discovering terroir and wine. You'll pedal through some of the world's most prestigious vineyards and admire authentic, traditional landscapes, shaped by man for centuries. Between chateaux, estates and vineyards, this ride is commented and led by your guide, a cycling and wine professional. Our aim is to help you discover our region through these landscapes, but also to give you a better understanding of the Climats de Bourgogne classification. Every vineyard in France is different, but ours is very specific and, above all, unique! You can buy wine and have it delivered.
Luggage transfer

Le Porte Bagages is a transport company specializing in tourism. We accompany hikers of all types (on foot, on horseback or by bike) throughout their journey in Burgundy. We carry their luggage from stage to stage, allowing them to travel light. We can also take them back to their starting point (even with their bikes) or provide shuttle services from train stations or airports.

Our scooters are E-trott Globe 3T Made in France, just as well-suited for strolling through the vineyards of the Côte de Beaune as for taking on the little forest singles on the plateaux.

Une expérience super, ???? l'équipe est sympathique et agréable, ils prennent le temps de nous donner bien des explications, et s'assurent que nous partons en pleine confiance dans la maîtrise de la trottinette ????. Vraiment top!
Le circuit était très bien fait, ce qui nous a permis de faire de belles découvertes, une belle vue sur les vignes, voir plusieurs châteaux, de jolis petits villages, et la campagne de Beaune en parcourant chemins et sentiers en toute sécurité. ????

La trottinette est très bien entretenue.
Nombreuses places de parking pour laisser son véhicule le temps de la sortie. Parking non payant.
C'est vraiment à la portée de tous...1ere fois pour moi, et aucun souci ????????
Si vous avez encore un peu de temps après votre balade, n'hésitez pas à aller au parc de la Bouzaize qui se trouve juste à côté du site.

If you are a family cycling the Voige de Vignes and don't want a strenuous workout, I would highly recommend renting the e-bikes over traditional bikes. This is especially true if you plan on going all the way to Santenay.
I have used this company twice, and both times we had a problem with a bike. The first time I enjoyed the ride so much I considered it a coincidence and have fond memories but this time trying to charge us for their own dangerous bike is unacceptable. Will not use again unfortunately.
In response to your review - we are all experienced riders and there was certainly no “curb jumping”. There was an issue with the chain locking up, that almost caused my friend to fly over his handlebars, it was extremely dangerous and 100% caused by the bike. Your response is not surprising: the lack of apology, lack of accountability and attempt to blame without trying to help or understand the situation was the same at the time. Avoid this company.
