GIRWOOD FOREST FAIR

We like Girdwood with its upscale ski resort atmosphere in winter, mountain biking and hiking base in summer. The village organizes every year a family festival with many stalls of local Alaskan handicrafts, music concerts, exotic and local gastronomy stalls, all in a festive atmosphere and a communicative good mood. A good reason to come and visit us at the beginning of July. The entrance is free, camping is allowed in the nearby forest (with a permit) and a shuttle bus is available in Anchorage.
