Travel Guide Ngo

Ngo is more of a crossroads than a town. It offers two possibilities: fork left onto Djambala or continue straight on to Gamboma. The bus acts as a refuelling station when it stops in the small villages with their sun-drenched huts to drop off a passenger. Halfway along the road from Ngo to Djambala, a stretch of road breaks the monotony of savannah stretching as far as the eye can see. The relief becomes more rugged, as the bus plunges down and then climbs back up through a tangle of hills and narrow valleys. The nuances of light and color make this passage a memorable moment, before the savannah alternates back to Djambala.
