A ‘Must’ if you’re wine touring Alsace. We are a group of wine enthusiasts and, for 10+ years, annually tour wine producing regions worldwide. Our guide today, the very competent Mariek, ? please excuse the spelling, was informative, attentive and intelligent. A great story, culture and product also. Unquestionably worth a return visit.

Mariecke gave me a fantastic tour of Schlumberger. She is incredibly knowledgeable answering all the questions put to her. Her wine presentation was excellent. A really attractive lady in every way. Dr Tony Buckland

This was a gem and a great find. Marieke ( spelling? ) gave us a wonderful tour and tasting. She was knowledgeable about the wines, and explained them beautifully. Highly recommended. The wines were really excellent and, I thought, really good value.

Une excellente visite qui m'a permis de faire le vaste panorama des lieux dits (3) et des grands crus proposés (4) déclinés sous plusieurs cépages. La dégustation de millésimes récents comme des plus anciens m'a prouvé que le potentiel de garde de certains grands vins alsaciens était trop sous estimé. Sur le Kessler, je peux affirmer que le gewurztraminer atteignait son apogée entre ses 20 et 35 ans pour les années les plus réussies. Franchement, outre l'accueil excellent, leur compétence en matière de vin est indiscutable. Une adresse a y aller de toute urgence pour ceux qui auront l'envie de découvrir les grands vins alsaciens sans préjugés. Un grand merci pour leur amabilité et leur intelligence a tous les étages..
we visited a wedding and organised by the owners of the exceptional schlumberger estate! already setting is magnificent, the huge park, and very well maintained. then the quality of aperitif was truly exceptional! they are really the height to celebrate events! you can really trust.
