This bakery is a real institution in Å. It is not only a place that serves good cinnamon buns, it is also part of the history of the village. It serves paint baked in a stone oven dating from 1878. Built in 1844, it was rebuilt after the fire of 1888. At the time, guest workers for the fishing season were housed here. Today, the listed building opens its doors every summer for demonstrations!

Welcome to one of Norway's best-preserved fishing villages! The Fiskevaersmuseum tells the story of daily life in a fishing village between 1840 and 1960, and the evolution of fishing in Lofoten over the last 250 years.
