ORCHILLA LIGHTHOUSE ROAD

If you head south, the road skirts the western tip of the island of El Hierro and then skirts the slopes of El Golfo, the depression in the north-west of the island. Finally, it gradually rises above the jagged coastline with purple tips, battered by the waves. The area is dotted with red craters and black sand cones.
